Who actually reads it
A person, not a calculator.
Coastal Motor Group is a family-owned, California-licensed auto broker in Costa Mesa (DLR#52875). We structure new-car leases and finance deals with dealers across the state every day — so we know what these numbers are supposed to look like this month, on this trim, for your credit tier.
Your worksheet is read by one of our brokers. Nothing is auto-generated, and nothing goes back to the store that quoted you.
Our promises
- Free, with no obligation to buy anything
- No credit pull and no SSN to review your deal — only if you decide to move forward with us
- We never contact the dealership you're working with
- Your information is never sold or shared
Send a real quote from a dealership or broker — worksheet, buyer's order or a written offer. Advertised specials and manufacturer ads aren't a deal we can review.
The process
How the review works
Five steps, usually finished the same business day.
- 1
You send the quote
Numbers, a photo of the worksheet, or both. Nothing is ever shared with the dealership you got it from.
- 2
We benchmark it statewide
We pull what that exact brand-new trim is transacting at across California this month and compare your discount off MSRP against it.
- 3
We verify the incentives
Every rebate, lease cash, loyalty, conquest and first-responder program you qualify for — plus dealer cash the store may not have passed along.
- 4
We check the rate
Your money factor or APR goes up against the captive lender's buy rate for your credit tier, so any markup shows up plainly.
- 5
You get the verdict
A written breakdown of what's fair and what isn't. If your deal is already strong, we'll say so. If we can beat it, we'll show you our numbers and you decide if you want us to build the deal.
Ready when you are
Most reviews come back the same business day. If your quote expires soon, tell us in the notes and we'll jump the line.

What we actually check
Four places dealers hide profit.
Statewide comparison
Your numbers against what this exact car is really leasing and selling for across California this month.
Every incentive verified
Lease cash, loyalty, conquest, first responder, military, college and regional dealer cash.
Rate markups
Marked-up money factors and padded APRs, compared to the captive lender's buy rate.
Fees and add-ons
Residual, term, mileage, doc fees and packs — the payment alone hides too much.
What you get back
A rating, and the reason behind it.
You won't get a vague "looks good." You get an overall read on the deal and a plain-English note on each piece of it, so you know exactly which line to push back on before you sign.
- Dealer discount compared to the rest of California
- Every incentive and rebate you qualify for
- Rate or money factor versus the lender's buy rate
- Fees and dealer add-ons, itemized
- Payment and due-at-signing structure
- One clear recommended next step

Questions
Before you send it over
Is the deal review really free?
Yes — completely. Send us your quote and a broker reviews it at no cost, with no obligation to buy anything. If your deal is already strong, we'll tell you to sign it.
How does Beat Your Deal work?
We check your numbers against current manufacturer incentives, residuals, money factors and the discounts brand-new cars are actually selling for across California. If you opted in and we can structure something better, we put our offer in writing next to yours so you can compare them line by line.
Will you pull my credit or ask for my SSN?
No. The review is based on the numbers and the credit range you select. Nothing touches your credit and we never ask for a Social Security number to review a deal.
Will you contact the dealer I'm working with?
Never. We don't call the store, we don't mention your name to them, and your worksheet is never shared outside our team.
How long does it take?
Most reviews come back the same business day. If your quote expires sooner than that, call or text us and we'll prioritize it.
Which cars qualify?
Brand-new vehicles only, anywhere in California, lease or finance. We can't review used or certified pre-owned pricing.
What if I don't have all the numbers?
Send what you have. A photo of the worksheet is ideal, but a monthly payment plus the vehicle is enough for us to start and ask follow-up questions.
Can you include my trade-in?
Yes. Add your trade details with the review and our buyers shop it to a network of California dealers, then we net it against the new car so you're comparing apples to apples.
Am I obligated to buy from you?
No. Plenty of people use the review, go back to their dealer with it, and sign there. That's a fine outcome — we'd rather you remember us next time.
